Starlight A blinding light,
In darkest night,
A special star,
Comes into sight,
And shining forth,
A loving ray,
Descends on me,
Whilst here I pray.
The starlight seems,
To lift my thought,
And sends it forth,
To where it's sought.
A distant place,
It finds him there,
Recipient,
Of, a lover's prayer.
And mindful of,
From whence it came,
He'll think of me,
And call my name.
I'll hear his voice,
And see his face,
I'll lay me down,
On bed of lace.
