Spread My Wings Can you imagine what it's like for me?
A struggle just to make it through the day,
For every waking minute never free,
And no one listening to the things I say,
So much to do, I have no time to halt,
And find the solace I so badly need,
I'm capable and sadly that's a fault,
My own advice at times I fail to heed,
I have no time to sit and meditate,
And listen to the music of my soul,
The little voice within reverberates,
And constant interruption takes its toll.
I need someone to help me to aspire,
Spread my wings and fly a little higher.
