Here comes the morning light
The little ones will be up soon
Before long it will again be noon
What my problem is I don't know
I should be used to missing you so
Night after night I spend alone
Hoping it's your ring from the phone
I knew what I was getting when I chose this life
I was even more than glad to become your wife
You say you love me I believe it is true
But why is it I seldom hear from you
You are a Soldier and this war must be fought
But why should I feel like it's me that you forgot
It is a terrible pain it hurts why cant you see
No letters, Few calls, I wonder do you love me
I have no regrets I would do it all over again
You tell me are you wondering what might have been
You say that we were made for each other
But you are letting our love slowly smother
I still want to live that happily ever after
I want to share our days with a lot of laughter
But its now just another sleepless night
