On this Christmas Day
I wish that I
Could be with you today
I sit here alone
The air outside is cold
I wish I were home
Where I have you to hold
No flakes of snow fall from the sky
Only tears fall from my eyes
If I were out in the cold
My tears would turn straight into snow
I feel so sad today
Even though I have your love
Although you are now my wife
You're far from my hold
I think of you this Christmas
Knowing you are also missing me
Knowing like me your crying
Crying because you want to be with me
I know we'll be together soon
But this Christmas holds much pain
We both need each other
On this lonely Christmas Day
