A Winter Morning A blanket of snow covers the town
The sky is a little cloudy
I awaken from the deepest sleep
As I feel you gently kiss me
The sun moves slowly in the sky
Staying ever so low
The mountain tops are thick with snow
As we lay in bed safe from the cold
I lay close beside you
We hold each other tight
I whisper words into your ear
Words just for you my dear
My love I give to you
My heart I share with you
My arms will always hold you
My dreams will all be of you
I feel so much better
When you are by my side
I wish you were here
Every single day
I hold you even closer
Not wanting to let go
Wishing we could stay like this
