As I leave England behind

The plane climbs even higher
As I fly through the cloud
As the cloud disappears
Blue sky is all I see
The flight is long and tiresome

The plane starts to descend
My first flight is almost over

I board my second plane
Here we go again
Speeding down the runway

I sleep for a while

I listen to some music
For just a few hours
Then I hear those wonderful words
We'll be landing in a little while
I start getting excited now
I'm almost home

I feel you all around
I go through security
I wonder where to go

So I follow that sweet sound
As I turn a corner
I can't believe my eyes
I finally see the one I love
The one I've flown to tonight
We both start to smile
As our eyes meet
We both let out a silent sigh
As we hold each other tight
I'm finally here my love
Everything's going to be alright
The moment we had waited for
Has arrived this winter night
