Gone...Is The Tropical Paradise

By: Lavina Burgess
12/30/2004

The mass graves, of burial sites
Bodies piled high
Diseased bodies, lurk, in the once clean soil
Bodies... being pulled, from twisted wreckage

Rows and rows of bodies, all lined up
So they could be placed... in open graves
A young boy of seven... under the murky waters
Just closed his eyes... and moved with the waves
Sucked up, by the raging waters
Then suddenly... crying, with eyes opened wide
Standing all alone... into another city
With no family... by his young side

Gone... is the once Tropical Paradise
Pushed by an angry, undersea, earthquake
With tens/ of thousands/ bodies...washed away!
