A Child Blamed

Playing outside
in the school yard,
waiting for the bell
the wait's long and hard.

A child blamed
for something he didn't do,
lied about it
to get away from you.

Got in trouble
has to stay for detention,
Monday after school
grabbed my attention.

Witnesses lying
for the other child,
a child blamed
a broken heart so mild.

My little guy was blamed for pushing another child in a mud puddle at school. The other child is well known as a liar. My little guy didn't even touch him. The Vice Principal kept badgering my little guy til he finally said yes. He just wanted them off his damn back. I don't blame him at all, for he what he did.
