Down by the bridge
where the flowers grow,
a little girl sits on the grass
as the gentle wind blows.

Down by the bridge
where the water's calm,
a little girl picks a flower
and holds it in her palm.

Down by the bridge
where the little girl cries,
her mother there no longer
to dry her swollen eyes.

Down by the bridge
little girl commits suicide,
jumps in the water
and ends her lonely life.

Down by the bridge
a little girl cries,
for her big sister
to come and dry her eyes.
