When is a poem a poem And who really can judge it, But for those who read its words, And never do forget? When is a poem a poem And whose call is it but yours? Its readers soon will decide If it will flop or soar. When is a poem a poem Besides when it's judged to be, When readers say they like it, You‘ve paid your entry fee? When is a poem a poem, When a thousand times it's read By the poet before the press Or judgments of others said?
