LOVE in the Real Sense

A woman, a Mama, A Lady, a Saint, to give up her claim to life,

in order, that her babies shall live, to a woman who has known,

her share of strife, they are the grandest gift of life

and for her to refuse treatment for cancers,

that would have aborted her twins,

so they may grow up to be dancers

~~

and instead carried them to full term

so that they would live, and though she knew

and through her undying love, her decision was firm

~~

she would start, the treatment just too late

and although miracles do happen

still she decided she would wait

~~

she continues to refuse the treatment, and so

as the deadly disease ravages her body, no greater LOVE is there i know

because it would keep her from being with her daughters

~~

she is happily spending time, so as the days wind down,

she is being with and loving her babies,

she will not let them down,

~~

i wrote this in the celebration of that Love

to those babies, that came from above

may they always know, thier mom loved them so

~~

For there is No greater LOVE, that I know

than to suffer and give your life up,

so that others may live

~~

This is the ultimate love you can give

~~

she will not see them, play and grow

but this love, the greatest love

from there mom they will know
