Dreams in a Dream
Laying there beside her, watching her sleep,
Remembering the intimacy we shared,
~
We had just made love that afternoon.
How I held her, while she cried on my shoulder
~
And the night I was awakened by her,
The bad dream she had, she tossed and turned.
~
At first her moans were sweet,
And then curious, and then frightening.
~
I was in the other room writing,
When she started moaning.
~
It was almost sensuous, it kept getting louder,
I put down my pad, went into her room
~
I knew at once, she was having a dream.
I sit down on the bed and cradled her in my arms
~
Kissed her from head to toe, sang to her very softly
Brushed her hair out of her face.
~
She quieted down and fell back to sleep
I laid her back on the pillow, Pulled up the cover,
~
Kissed her forehead, I left the room........
~
Sitting with pen in hand writing again
Some time later, she started making the moans again
~
But when I went in there, She wasn't sleeping,
She was lying on the bed, as seductive as she could be.
~
She was smiling at me, with one finger,
She motioned and teased me, to come to her
~
I did, feeling like a puppet to her, I went.
She leaned up to my face,
~
Kissed me with soft kisses all over my face,
I felt every kiss and I was so aroused.
~
She with one finger lead me to her bed
Where she had been sleeping
~
But, wait, someone is in the bed.
Oh! Who is it if she is here with me and I am with her?
~
Who then is in the bed?
And as I follow her to bed, she kisses my lips,
~
I lay down in the bed, my mind totally caught in the
moment, We make passionate love; we kiss and love so hard
So feverish, urgently and so long,
~
Sit down and do some writing
Looking at the letter I wrote it's to her
~
I take a deep breath and the warmth and a
Beam of light shine on me off the wall from that room
~
Yes it was the night she left us, To be god's angel.
I'm immersed in a warm glowing white light,
~
She is standing smiling in front of me,
Kissing and holding me, walking me to the room,
~
She takes one finger, curling it back to her body,
Motioning me to come to her,
And soon I am with her,on her bed in a loving embrace,
~
We make a passionate love,
The likes of which we never knew existed,
I cuddle my arm gently touching her,
~
I wake up, I kiss her, and I hold her and whisper I love you.
She smiles and I watch her get out of bed…
~
The curtains blow against my face and I wake up
Sitting in my chair when I was writing last night
~
I awaken and get up, shower, and brush my teeth
Look in on her, she is up, her bed is empty
~
All made up, all the stuffed animals on it as she loved them,
I say to her "I love you",
~
The wind blows the curtain, a glass goes crashing,
To the floor it wakes me up
~
"I look down at the letter, I was writing",
IT'S NOT FROM ME! IT'S FROM HER TO ME!!!!,
~
She was HERE! Last night,
I close the window, I Realize that I fell asleep in my chair again,
~
I look down at the pad.
It says "Dear".
~
"That's as far as I got".
"I must have passed out".
