My Ideas and my poetry

They just come to me
I don't usually think as long as it's my idea
I don't give much thought
~
That's why I don't get caught
Writer's block comes from rewriting
And trying to make it taut
~
And I find it if it's free it speaks for me
So I usually don't worry
And I write in a flurry
~
IM in the mood to compose
Haven't even started to write prose
About what heaven knows
~
I feel like writing some lines, so here goes
They say roses are red,
Violets are blue
~
But Atheas are red white and blue
I know I planted them too
They pretty and sweet smelling,
~
In all different tints and hues
But mainly they are red whites and blues
I call it my flag bush
~
It's in my front yard
I think maybe, I will photograph it, and make it a card
They said it wouldn't work
~
But leave it to me and my little quirk
Its alive and its red white and blue
And its colors so pretty too
~
I took 3 different plants
Planted them in the ground
Each of their holes were round
~
And separated by spaces of dirt
Water and fertilizer I did squirt
1 yr. no bloom, got hit with early frost
~
2 yrs. And nothing lost
Beautiful flowers adorn my yard,
Yes I think I will put it on a card
