Giggles And Boos!

Boo! Was being heard everywhere on my street
I said to one little goblin “hey, you scared me”
She giggles and whispers, “trick or treat”

While others popped out from behind my tree
They just kept coming till they packed my porch
I laughed at the various costumes standing in front of me

I saw orange florescent tape on their backs
Winding across the yard like a snake
Or maybe a train without its tracks

Another night of trick or treat, had come and gone,
Feeling tired, and out of candy
Knowing, I would sleep the whole night long

Ghosts and goblins, giggles and boos
Anxiously waiting to check out the boys treats,
Sippin' some wine, slippin' off my shoes
