Our First Spring As Husband And Wife As we enter another spring
I feel your love within
On this our first spring as husband and wife
I can feel you by my side
I feel your love flowing through me
Surrounding me and so warming
Filling my heart with happiness and joy
Keeping me safe from harm
I listen to the birds singing in the springtime morn
In my head the only song I hear is yours
Your sweet voice sings a gentle melody
That warms my soul and makes me feel complete
I'm able to relax as the sun slowly rises
Hearing your voice, feeling you next to me
I'll meet you in your dreams you softly say
As into a sleep I melt away
I wake to your call, that sweet voice from heaven
Its time to wake on this sunny spring day
I smile as I slowly open my eyes
I feel you so close, though you are away
Just like the flowers are starting to open
As they catch their first glimpse of the springtime sun
My heart for you will always be open
