My mind revisited

My mind is spinning

It has flown away

My face is grinning

Can't write now anyway

I warned you

about the mind of a writer

yes it's true

an story teller, an exciter

~

The rooms look empty

But be they look empty or full

Compassion and empathy

~

It's from the rooms i pull

my thoughts and ideas,

arrousing or dull

~

Duck they will bop you in the head

Smiling as I see my thoughts again

What was it? that I said?

~

Oh the joy, the misery, the pain

I guess I should go to bed

At least from writing abstain

~

i lay down to rest my brain

but this one thought

keeps coming again and again

~

i need the sleep

but it won't come

I start to weep

~

emotionally drained

i pray i sleep

and my soul to keep
