Howling In the Night

Most of the trees had shed their leaves
All night, the banging, scraping, continued
The wind was circling the house like thieves
~
Behind the clouds the moon was spending the night
The howling of wind like a pack of hungry wolves at the door
As if off a movie sound track, to enhance the audience fright
~
She shivered and trembled, clinging on me
She was squeezing me so hard it hurt
I kissed her and held her tightly
~
And teased her, she began to forget
And relax, soon she was so docile
I was so glad we had met
~
We kissed and caressed and made love
Two became one as our desires crested
We cuddled till morn, in the warmth of our love
