Broken Heart
She left me all alone
And my heart is broken
Still she won't phone
Like a shattering of stone
The pieces each all alone
And never to be put back together
Sharp edges being weathered
And I know we both will be better
In the passage of time
I face the past, tears in my eyes
And I sniffle and outright cry
But lord I realize
The memories most were good
And I know not why
But she gave me so much
So I cry not because I am hurt
But because having loved her touch
