Election day

She said I voted

I was in great shockery

As she waltzed around the room

Showing such disdain and mockery

One couldn't mistake her perfume

It was distrust and beguile

And in behind her face somewhere

There was a smile

But the inspiration she didn't share

You could hear her laughing

At you and all that was there

Not a sound was uttering

All she did was look at me in the mirror

My mind was spinning

Then she turned and yanked my hair

And began kissing
