Never Had A Chance

I couldn't take my eyes off her

So alluring, in that red mini

Her smile and poise, so confident and sure

Moving through the room with such grace

Friendly and flirtatious she was charming

Not the least bit shy, she looked into my face

She held me in her embrace

Softly caressing and whispering

My heart pounding as if in a race

~~

I was alive, and on fire

She had awakened the devil in me

My lust, my consuming desire
