My Locket
Dancing, blanket, pocket

Somewhere she is wearing my locket
And listening to soft tunes
I have her picture still in my pocket
When we went to the dunes

Dancing laughing
Drinking and having a great time
On a blanket the two of us loving
She even wrote me a little rhyme
~
In case someday she went away
She said keep in my pocket
To remember good times anyway
I gave her my locket
~
And thru the night we kissed away
Our love was deep and as one
I didn't think she'd ever go away
We always had fun
~
As I pull the paper out
My tears seem to run not drip
And the words just washout
Feel the water on my lips
