An Angel Held me
Sunset -angel- whispers
~
It was a day like today
I saw her coming to me
And not one word did she say
Her smile was all I could see
~
She a magnificently bright glow
Yes it was about sunset
I answered my cell phone said hello
She said you haven't left yet
~
About a half a mile to go
And out of nowhere
What happened did anyone know?
She talked in whispers, I couldn't help but stare
~
She held me, and calmed me
Said I am here you'll be fine
I opened my eyes to see
I felt like drunk with wine
~
An angel was holding me tight
She said there had been accident
But I would be all right
I felt such an endearment
~
Well I must been passed out
But no matter she was here
Of that I had no doubt
Even now I feet her near
