"My Painted Smile"

Do not offer me your candy to take me for a ride. No! I will not Tell them I fell from the playground slide. I can't go on living with the fears I do. I was born with a heart and feeling's. Now tell me, "What has happened to you"? If you'd only love me instead of shoving me away. Then we could live in peace, instead of playing these games that people play. And, when it all is over, the pain you've given me will leave my heart, once and for all and follow you through eternity. Someday will come, soon I hope, when I will no longer be a child. One thing you cannot take from me, Is MY PAINTED SMILE!
