Presents, jewelry and material things

Are a but a bribe to forget our needs

We all need the same things

So I will give you my heart, my love

You will be filled with an inner glow

For when the material things are gone

There's nothing to show

Neglect can not be cured

By baubles and bangles and pretty rings

Abuse can not be erased

By the glitter and shininess of such things

~

With your REAL needs Filled

You will be warm

You will be filled with love

You will suffer no harm

LOVE will fit you like a glove
