 As The Train Whistle Blows

Lying here with the window open
Listening to the rain and wind so mild,
And the train whistle blows
It reminds me of when I was a child.

Summer nights I spent
At my grandparents' place,
And the train whistle blows
Puts a smile on my face.

Grandpa used to tell me stories
Of oh, so long ago,
How he used to work on the train tracks
And the train whistle blows.
