At the beep....you know what to do

I came into the house
The answering machine
Had a message on it.
I listened to your call

I picked up the phone
Called you right back
It rang and rang and rang
And rang again

Finally we connected
The machine said "hi Jaqi what you doing'
And it said, "I am unable to come to the phone...
But at the beep, you know what to do

I said, "Hi, got your message... Thursday 7:30... Deal
I am not going to be in tonight till after 9
Me and some friends going dancing'
And drinking some wine

So call me tomorrow
But Thursday is fine
Love to have dinner, and catch a show
And (that the other part),

You never left my heart
So call me
We will get together
I am in love with you too"
