Happy Easter

The boys again this year

Wanted to color eggs

For Easter

~

It was a sunny day

Took them shopping

They bought the kits

Anxious and hoping

~

They took over my kitchen

All I had to do was supervise, not to speak

And how they were itchin'

To start coloring eggs

~

On the cabinet they set it up

I watch them paint and draw

I stayed shut up,

~

The eggs were hard-boiled

They dropped few, Aww

But wow how hard they toiled

~

~

Using wax they drew figures too

Dipping into different colors

What they could do

~

Self portraits, tie-dyed eggs, rainbows too

The smiles on their face, as they start using blue

They're my boys and they're messy.... Woo

~

I was anxious too

Love marshmallow candy

I sneaked a piece too

Happy Easter~
