Lord, hear our prayers
We really need you now,
We have to get through this pain
Someway, somehow.
The weather hit us hard, Lord
Flooded city streets,
So many souls were lost
May they rest in peace.
Familes are trying to go on
Without their loved ones near,
Please hear our prayers, Lord
Help us dry our tears.
I know help is on the way, Lord
But it just isn't enough,
We need your guidance now
Times here on earth are rough.
Please here our prayers, Lord
Help to keep us safe,
Let us live, to see another day
To you Lord, this I pray.
