I remember the time

I was embarrassed, was in a restaurant

and didn't have a dime

~

I forgot my purse

Gawd there was my 2 and Debbie's 2

To make matters worse

~

Debbie was expecting

And Gawd it was a mess

Kids were fussing

~

A cop I knew came in

Said hahaha I will pay your bill

Smiled thinking what a nice friend

~

She said anything for you love

I am a phone call away

It was as if she was my angel from above

~
