Why'd You Have To Fly
the tower of radio, against the darken sky
off the coast i could hear them cry
it was about 2 girls and a guy
~
tears dripping as the water lapping,
at the boat,
sea gulls flying flapping
reminding us were still afloat
~
looking up in to the sky
stars twinkle by and by
and still i ask why they have to fly
~
now I write this to say bye to John , Carolyn, Loren, byebye
now that you have gone
a nation has to cry
