The Pain Has Been Lifted
The pain has been lifted
From this heavy heart,
Knowing the site will stay
And the friendships, will never part.
I went out for a walk
To clear my foggy head,
I am so content right now
Glad I didn't stay home instead.
Breathing in deep
The cool, autumn air,
The pain has been lifted
My feet feel like dancing, without a care.
