Flower steel honey

I was taking a shower
Thinking about my honey
She was working at this hour

It's the 4th of July
She was told she had to work
We made plans; we both had a good cry

She said "No weekend visiting"
Need her touch,

Missin' her so much

The doorbell rings
I quickly dry
I open the door, Hiii, she sings

I sigh,
Gawd she hands me a flower
She's home but why?
Doesn't matter, I needed her at this hour

Her song is sung
My heart isn't steel
It is trembling. My bell rung
It's how I feel
