Who's sorry anyway?
Who's sorry I say?
And why does it make it ok

To say I am sorry anyway
Does it make it hurt any less?
Does it make it go away
~
Does it make repairs?
No I can clearly say
So it doesn't matter splitting hairs
~
It's only for the one saying it you see
It's just a thing we all do, to get our love across
Who's sorry is it you or me
~
That we indeed wished it wasn't done
The heart can't take it from anyone
It is no fun
~
If all would live by the golden rule
We would all treat each other as lovers
Family and friends, now would that be cool?
~
But we think its ok, as long as it followed by a sorry statement
It will be okay, and all that hear will know It wasn't really meant
So sorry and who's sorry now...is just a comment
~
I am sorry that we have a need to say I am sorry
And with this poem I will be content
But if it's not to your liking
What can I say? I am so sorry
