Snake Dancer

She wore a vibrant costume

As she danced for us

And moved around the room

The thing that got me

Was the snake she kissed and hugged?

It was a Michigan rattler a snake so deadly

~

She must have thought she

Was immortal,

If the snake bit we would soon see

Venom cursing till she passed through the portal
