Pepper, magic, coy

~

She was coy

She often did things

She liked her toy

~

She loved to run

And play and play

She had such fun

But then one day

~

As if by magic

Her love had gone away

It was so tragic

But in all things you must pay

~

She had played cat and mouse

And with out salt, what is pepper

So it goes in this house

~

Ice without cream

Toast without jam

So quiet it seem

Mary without lamb

~

We are who we are

We need each other

Yes I very much care
