Winters Delight
Winter leaves snow

So cold, so white
The snow glistens
The winters delight
~
A crunching
Under the feet
the leaves left scrunching?

Or just the snow
Inside by the fire
A cherry red glow
~
Chestnuts popping,
In your eyes
A pleading, hoping
~
The flickering flame
Of hope and desire
A passion too wild to tame
~
Cuddling and loving
In front of the fireplace
Building, building
then the glow of grace
