Always Well

(This is dedicated to a loving mom and a great lady Girl Marthe who I dearly miss, I haven't seen or heard of her in along while....Marthe if you read this send me an email.) I have never recieved a email from her...
I wrote this after her first hospital stay and she she went back to the hospital she was a mom of a 3year old boy........

She was looking so weak,

I knew she was sick,

Our future was bleak.

~

She made an ice cream treat,

Topped it with a cherry,

And kissed me sweet.

~

She looked like nothing was wrong,

As she said to me, "Don't worry, be happy ",

Like in the song.

~

I gave in,

To her giggles

And that mischievous grin

~

And she went to get better,

In the hospital for such a long time,

I could have knitted her a sweater.

~

And then one day,

She is home, weak and tired,

But with her son she can play.

~

She has MS,

A fast debilitating kind,

But just one word, a look, a kiss.

~

And she shows you a grin,

She is happy to see you,

This happens agin' and agin' .
