Distance...Eyes... Hold...... Forever

It was late when she called to say,
" I love you!"... I will forever & ever....
But I can't get home today
What weather....

The distance is too great
I tried and I tried to be home, dear
But I missed the bus so I have wait,
But soon I will be there,

To hug, to hold, and to kiss ,
Oh, how I wished we were together agin'
Sharing our lovin'... reliving the bliss?
In her voice I heard chagrin

I said, "Don't cry"..... "I'm not", She said.
Tears dripping from my eyes
She said , "You either, you better get to bed"
I let out a couple of sighs
