 Close Enough To Touch

Two flocks of geese flew by my window
Just missed my balcony,
There must have been at least fifty or more
Wish I had my camera with me.

If I were to go outside
When they were flying past,
I would have been able to touch them
They weren't going by very fast.

Just off in the short distance
They seemed a little confused,
The windy weather that is here today
In what way were they supposed to go to?

They first headed off to the North-West
Then turned back around,
They then headed off to the South-West
Would have been better off, staying on the ground.

They were making a lot of noise
When they were flying by,
I'll never, forget this day
Close enough to touch, my, oh my.

I can't believe what I just saw. I really wish I had my digital cam with me.
