Mama Part

To give birth and protect
The warmth they inject

To love them with all of my heart
I got the Mama part

To see the laughter as they play
To nourish and guide them on their way

To watch them chase butterflies
And blow bubbles that rise

To observe their curiosity take off
To nurse them from sickness or a cough

To see them all tuckered out
And to laugh at the lips they pout

To preach and to pray
To teach, and to play

I am so glad I was born
