How do I love thee?

Let me count the ways.
my love is infinitesimal
and can not be counted
for there are not enough
waking moments

but know this
just as oceans evaporate
and the sand blows
galaxies are born
while others slowly die

not the twinkling of the stars
or the rushing of a comet
the density of a black hole
all the critters and insects
on this world

Could even come close
to the many ways I love you
so when you think
of all that I have said
How could I count the ways

just know that if I tried
before I barely started
I would be dead
so let me kiss you and hold you
and love you up close
