i saw her lavendar eyes
only once before
it wasn't here in th USA
it was on a tropical shore

on her face a gentle smile
in her eyes there was a desire
in her words was laughter
with a tender touch of fire

iwe walked under the stars
and in the moonlight
the waves pounding the beach
she walked with me that night

promises were made
to both our delight
