Silent Cries
Many bad times gone past
She lived, hard and fast
What was she searching for?
The essence of life became a blur
She been gone for decades
No news of her escapades
Now she was back in town
She looked a little rundown
The futility, of wearing a mask
All one has to do is care to ask
(why, what, when, where,)
You know she wanted to share
As I look into her eyes
I felt her tormented silent cries
What's behind her smile?
Is she true or a lady of guile?
I offered her a friend
My hand I did extend
She accepted my invite
We danced into the night
Kissing, talking, time flew away
In my arms she wanted to stay
Stretching ,and a moaning yawn
We saw the first rays of dawn
