Australia
What is it about Australia
That I love so much?
Is it the plants
Or the animals and such?
Maybe it's because
The people there are so friendly,
Or maybe it's the colorful birds
Perched in the eucalyptus trees.
It could be the amazement
Of a beautifully wonderous island,
Parts of it
Untouched by man.
One of these years
I'd love to go visit this place,
Meet friendly new people
I know they'd put a smile on my face.

I have a couple of friends that live there. One I haven't had the chance to talk to in the past couple of years. I shall have to write to her.
