Blues,The

Baby needs some brand new shoes
In my consciousness I was hearing the blues

So take your aching heart
Bring it close and never part

Music that allows the pain
Refrain after refrain

The music is another form of art
It cries, and screams emotions of the heart

Everyone can relate it's not too late
Gather around closer and ingratiate

Some where between sadness and joy
Music of the blues does employ

It's not what we ain't got
It's about all feeling better a whole lot

Instead of wallowing in heartaches
It's about feeling better for goodness sakes

Life is aching and unfair
But baby needs shoes to wear
