Snowballs in the kitchen

Snowballs in the kitchen
Water on the floor
They came running in
Again just as they did before
I asked what's in their pocket
They said “snowballs”

I exclaimed” I just finished moping the floor”

Snowballs in the kitchen
Water on the floor
I made them hot chocolate
Red cold faces, I adore
They smiled and said “we love you”
And began to wipe up the floor

I exclaimed No more!

Snowballs in the kitchen
Or water on the floor
