She Waits

She waits for him
To come to her,
You can see
The sadness, in her eyes.

She only has one
Christmas wish,
It's her love
She cannot hide.

Her world seems
To crumble around her,
As she knows, their love is like
Fire and ice.

She knows she's only
Lying to herself,
Only wishing
For paradise.

I took the last word, in the first line and made it rhyme with the last lines in each stanza. Trying something different.
