Do You Know?
One day not so very long ago
The ground was covered
It was like a winter show
There were twinkling lights
In a deep fluffy snow
Do You Know?
I woke up this day
I see the grass and the mud
No snow it was taken away
Was winter a DUD?
Water standing, what the hay?
Do You Know?
Will it come back so we can play?
It's still cold and the wind is blowin'
Snow is a beautiful display
It hides all that is ugly to the eye
More snow to sled and ski they cry

We didn't even make a snow man, Hey! Hey!
You can sleep in, no school they say
Making angels in the snow we often lay
Waiting for the neighbors sleigh
We give thanks to God we pray
