Just A Bad Dream I see the birds in the trees
They are talking to me
I see the bright sun
Shining down on me
I see someone's smile
Deep inside my heart
I see my amazing wife
Smiling at me
We rush towards each other
Is this a dream?
I can hear her calling
Calling out to me
We meet and hold each others hands
We kiss each others soft lips
Are we both dreaming?
Of a day that is soon to be
I hold her closer than ever before
No wanting to let her go
I hold her in my arms
As we kiss some more
We whisper in each others ears
I tell her how I feel
She tells me she loves me
I reply, I love you too my dear
Then something starts to happen
The sky starts turning black
The birds that had spoke to me
Have all flown away
I look all around me
What's going on?
In the distance I hear her cry
Baby please don't leave me
I turn but cannot see her
Where has my angel gone?
I can't see her
Nothing but blackness surrounds me
I start crying
This must have been a dream
I must be sleeping
I close my eyes and cry
I wake up crying
I turn on my side
That's when I see her
Gently sleeping this night
She is here with me
My beautiful blue eyed wife
She is sleeping next to me
Everything is all right
I lay my head next to her arm
She snuggles close to me
I put my arm around her
Then I drift off to sleep
I try to forget the dream
That made me cry
For my wife is always with me
No matter what I dream about at night
She's always by my side
Filling my heart with her love
I will always love her
Whether we're near or apart
