 Wild Fantasies (Prose)

A lovely unicorn falls victim to poachers,
Caught in a net,
Knowing what is to come.

The unicorn wishes to be free.
Roam free along the soft, sandy beach.

He knows, once he loses his horn,
He will die.

He's seen this done before.

He tramples the ground with his hooves,
Trying to break free
Out of the net.

The poachers slowly move their way
Toward the mystical creature.
He bucks hard.

The poachers attempt to remove the net
And tie ropes around
The creature's neck.

The unicorn breaks free.

Trotting through the woods,
He finds his way
Down a steep slope.

His life was spared from the poachers.

He's free to roam wild
Along the soft and sandy beach.

Through the warm ocean waves he runs.
